The 6 Cities to Visit in China

Traveling within China is one of the easiest things to do. You don’t need to leave your house to buy a plane ticket or a train ticket anymore. You just need to download the right app on your phone and buy it from there.

China is a huge country. Each city has something unique about it. There really isn’t another place that’s quite like China. These six cities are my favorite places.

Beijing

I’m slightly biased with this one. Not just because it’s the capital city. It’s been my home for nearly six years. I’ve made lots of memories here, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Wangfujing shopping area, Beijing

A lot of China’s most famous landmarks are in or near Beijing. The Great Wall, itself, is just a two hour bus ride outside of the city. Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City can be done on the same day!

If the giant tourist spots aren’t for you, you can take a stroll in one of the many parks in the city. If you want to practice your photography skills, 798 is the place to do that. It’s an old factory that was shut down. Now it’s an art district where tourists come to take pictures. There’s so many places to explore in Beijing, and…
