Ten Years Ago I Read An Article Predicting The Next Twenty Years
It’s proving itself right
I couldn’t tell you who wrote the article or where it came from. If I had to guess, I’d think I saw it in HuffPost. Don’t quote me on that. I have no idea.
The article talked about the weakening influence of the religious right. And how as my generation and the next ones get older, we’ll finally see a real separation of church and state.
One quote from that article stuck with me.
For the next twenty years, we will witness some of the most corrupt practices from the government in an effort to keep its power.
From what I’ve seen, that little article from ten years ago is right. Don’t believe me? Think about what happened on January 6th. If that’s not a sign of a failing group trying too hard to gain back their power, I don’t know what is.
Some of you are probably rolling your eyes right now and thinking I’m going to do nothing but attack the right. However, the Left, especially Democrats, aren’t any better.
