Six Changes I Noticed After Six Weeks At The Gym
Bonus: They have nothing to do with weight
Another day, another thing I’m doing to survive my Grad School program. The stress of student teaching and online learning drove me to join a gym, and I’ve gone almost every week.
On a normal week, I’m at the gym for four days, and I have three days of “active rest.” I’m not sure what it means, but I take the resting part seriously. Let me tell you, joining a gym is something I wish I had done before the school year began.
After six weeks, I noticed some changes, and I felt different. I feel a difference when I don’t go, and I feel much better on the days I do.
I won’t bore you with my excercise routine. It’s not what this article’s about. I will tell you the changes I noticed after going for the past six weeks. However, I’m not talking about weight.
Why Not Talk About Weight?
I have PCOS. If you don’t know, PCOS makes it damn near impossible for some women to lose weight. I’d get down on myself and stop going. I’d rather focus on the mental benefits of the gym than on the number on the scale.
