Pouring Rain

So many emotions are amplified
in the rain.
It makes coffee taste better,
that ending more satisfying,
that kiss more romantic,
and that drive more scary.

If it wasn’t for rain,
things would be normal.
Simply normal.
That’s fine,
but sometimes it’s boring.

I welcome the rain
with its unpredictable days.
Will it intensify or scare?
It does more than what
we think it does.
