I’m Not Sure How To Feel About The Email
My thoughts on an email I received from the Education Department
This morning, I woke up to cats trying to get my attention. I did my usual morning routine then checked my phone.
Today, I received an email from the Education Department updating me on my loan application. It told me I qualified for forgiveness, and my information is getting sent to my loan company if the Biden administration wins the lawsuits.
I don’t know how to react. I’m getting told something I already know but can’t do shit about because of legal limbo. The whole thing is driven by greed and hypocrisy. And I’m one of 26 million people suffering for it.
I could waste a chunk of this article filling you in on what’s been happening with the loan forgiveness program, but the theme is the same. Greedy people can’t handle it when someone who needs help gets it. So they’ll do everything they can to ensure they benefit while the other person suffers.
It’s nice reading the Department of Justice is filing an appeal on behalf of the Education Department, but the department doesn’t sound confident in its success.
Can you blame them? I don’t think they prepared well enough for conservative greed.
