I just got paid 16 bucks on Medium! This is What I’ve learned!

Yesterday, I received my first payment email from Medium. I made 16 bucks in my first month. It was fascinating looking at how everything was broken down. Some articles made a lot of money, and some didn’t. I’m still learning how the system works, but these are some of the things I’ve noticed.
Curation doesn’t always guarantee engagement.
In my first month, two of my articles’ve been curated.
The Cast for Hot Pot was my highest earning article, but Fat Girl’s Guide got somewhere in the middle. It wasn’t the views that made the article, but how many people clapped, and commented on it.
Fat Girl’s Guide is easily my most viewed article. The only one of my articles, so far, that’s had over 100 people read it…
