How To Stay Consistent At The Gym
Advice from a non-influencer
Of all the things I’ve done to stay active throughout my life, going to the gym pays off the most. It wasn’t easy, but I found a way to make it work for over a year, which I believe will stay with me for the rest of my days.
One morning, as my alarm went off at 4:30 A.M., my boyfriend woke up and watched me grab my bag.
“How can you keep at it?” he asked.
“I saw more benefits than not doing it,” I answered.
It sounds like an asinine answer, but it’s true. I saw huge improvements when I started going to the gym. Those improvements motivated me to make the gym a part of my daily life, to the point that I get restless without it.
Consistency wasn’t easy. It took trial and error. And it took a few difficult conversations with loved ones. But I found it. Here’s how.
