Four Kids Died In Michigan Yesterday, But Will Anything Change?
Thanksgiving wasn’t a week ago, and we already had another school shooting. This time, it happened in Oxford, Michigan. A fifteen-year-old came to school and shot at his classmates.
Four kids died. Eight kids got injured. No, I’m not going to give the shooter’s name. He doesn’t deserve the fame.
I’m not going to say too much about it. Anything I’d want to say would be the same as another article I wrote years ago about another school shooting. I’ll leave the link here so you can read it.
I’m still cynical about anything changing after this tragedy. I still think people will find guns more valuable than their children’s lives.
As I said in my older article, I don’t know what the answer is. I don’t think anyone knows what the answer is. But something needs to change. Our current system isn’t working, and children are dying.
I want something to change, but I don’t think it will. How many more kids have to die before something changes? I’ll never stop asking.
