An interesting take on the article. All I've heard about the show is excessive violence, and it's made me not want to watch the show. (Oddly enough, I just wrote an article about my disinterest.) The way it was described to me, I saw it as nothing new. That we'd watch people suffer for money, no matter how violent the material is.

Maybe I'll watch it after some time? I'm not sure I can stomach the violence, but I do enjoy your take on the show.
