Still has nothing to do with weight

I can’t believe I finally found an exercise routine I can commit to! One I can return to after spending a week away from being sick! It’s a wonderful feeling!

Now that I’ve had a few months to experience some changes, I can tell you how much weightlifting benefitted my life. It’s one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. I don’t see myself stopping any time soon.

But that’s not why you’re here. You’re wondering what positive changes I’ve seen since I started weightlifting. I’ll tell you, but I’m still not talking about weight. It’s not why I started going to the gym, and it’s none of your business why I’m still going.

I Finally Feel In Control Of My PCOS

I wrote about it before, and I’ll write it again. Getting diagnosed explained so much! I wasn’t fat, hairy, anxious, and depressed because I was lazy. It turns out I have a medical condition that makes all of these symptoms feel like Tuesday. I’d been kicking myself for something I couldn’t control.

I didn’t start going to the gym expecting to use it to control my PCOS. It became a happy benefit to find something to help with the stress of juggling Grad School and a full-time job.
